Our Lurcher and a friends Bull Terrier had an enjoyable morning on Crimdon Beach. Two hours of walking (us) and running (them) left us all exhausted.

The eclipse was a bit of a let down today. It was very cloudy here in Easington Colliery but we did get a few small breaks in the cloud, so I did manage to get a few o.k. photos and some video.

We purchased the Trixie Dog Activity Snack Ball to keep our Lurcher happy. It only took him a little while to figure it out our to get the treats out of it but it keeps him very happy even when it is empty and it is quite robust so will last a good while.

Today whilst out walking the dog, I passed the rear entrance to the old Easington Colliery School. Someone had broken the padlock on one of the gates, so I decided to venture inside.
The buildings are very easy to access, but unsafe, and because I had the dog with me I did not venture very far inside.
I did take a few photos and shoot some video. It was interesting to to have a look round the old Easington Colliery School, and I was surpised to see that there was still some furniture inside.
